Steve have us swift and professional advice when we discovered damp in a cellar- type area when it was emptied. Steven has just finished colour rendering the front of our stone fronted Victorian house. He has also done the damproofing under our bay window. I was dubious choosing someone online and took a chance from reading other reviews I’m pleased I did. Steven spent a week working on our house. He is such a reliable guy and he has done an amazing job. It helps that he such a likeable person with a great sense of humour and great stories to tell. What you see with him is what you get. I would highly recommend Steven for his first class work! Just be aware he loves his cups of tea.

We just had steve colour render our front forecourt wall and he’s done a amazing job. Cracking lad and a pure perfectionist. Would recommend him to anybody, had so many compliments on it already, real neat tidy work. SPOT ON!

Steve and his crew successfully installed damproofing throughout the ground floor of my 100 years old Terraced house. But in addition to that he gave advice about air circulation and installed vents in several places. He also patched up some faults in the pebble dash on the outside wall.

Stephen was recommended to me by another satisfied customer and in the past months he has updated the appearance of my house. Firstly when my lounge walls were stripped of wallpaper and needed skimming the whole task was completed in less than a day leaving a perfectly smooth surface ready for my decorator to paint. In preparation the carpets were totally covered and the room left spotlessly clean and tidy afterwards. As I was so pleased with the result I asked him back to plaster the ceiling of another room which still had an Artex finish and I am delighted that it too was left in the same pristine condition.

Steve has plastered every ceiling in our house and most of the walls, over many years. His work is always of an excellent standard so when we need some plastering doing we always call Steve. Whether the job is big or small Steve always fits us in as soon as he can. Utterly reliable, he always arrives to do the work when he says he will. He is always a pleasure to do business with.

Have just had bedroom walls and ceiling done and work is excellent. Plaster is so smooth and everything was cleared up after them leaving no mess at all. Contacted about some rendering work that needed doing on external kitchen wall, Stephen came out the same day to give a quote and was very down to earth, no nonsense and not over priced. Managed to get the work done the same week and they did a great job. Clean and tidy and work completed to a high standard. Would definitely recommend.

I needed to have my entire house re-rendered due to several cracks and water coming through which was causing damp in my kitchen. Steve came out to give me a quote within a couple of days of getting in touch & his quote was the cheapest out of the three I received. He gave a thorough detailed rundown of the process and answered all the questions I had without laughing at how daft some of them were! The job took around 4 days and both Steve and John arrived promptly every morning and even stayed until after 7pm one night to make sure they got the job done. The house is now unrecognisable and is one of the smartest on the street. Top blokes with top banter…they will drink you out of house and home though so make sure you stock up on coffee!!

Just had a job completed today off this company which was coloured rendering on my semi detached house. Fantastic result, Steve and John are both friendly, helpful people and are exceptional at what they do. Nothing is a bother to them. Gone is the old outdated pebble dash that is the norm in my street. Their work looks so good that already in a matter of hours we have had 3 neighbors comment on how good it looks. Would highly recommend these guys reasonably priced and a very high standard or work. You wont be disappointed.

An outstanding rendering gable end of the house job done to perfection, refitted new beautiful edging stones to the roof and capped the chimney. Steven and john are friendly, honest trustworthy to do a great job I’m so pleased with the quality of work and works so hard on the project. Will definitely recommend with no hesitation.

I chose to go with them because they turned up when they said they would, offered a good price and their communication was top notch.They’ve done a great job and our gable end looks ten times better than it did.

My son recently purchased a Victorian property which needed a lot of work to make it in any way habitable. It is always a risk to hire the services of a tradesman you don’t know and I had a certain degree of trepidation as to the prospect. The property needed damp proofing, plastering throughout the house, attention to a fireplace/chimney etc., roof work amongst other jobs we wanted done.

I would describe myself as a ‘fussy’ person and quite hard to please! However, having said that I am highly delighted with the end result. Stephen, together with the work of others were all polite, professional, courteous and always helpful throughout. Their standard of work has been exemplary, all carried out quickly and with a great deal of effort on all their parts. Job was estimated 5days and took only 4days (good weather helped). Great communication from the first contact (April) stephen came out with in a day or two of calling, took a few notes and calculations and gave a verbal quotation straight away. We then booked him in for June.

I phoned Steven at short notice, I was having a new kitchen fitted in 3 days and the plasterer I had booked phoned to let me down. Obviously I wanted the plastering done before the new kitchen was put in. Although he was extremely busy Steven agreed to do the job to help me out. He did an amazing job and I cannot sing his praises highly enough, would definitely recommend him.

Steve is a nice guy, reliable, friendly and does a great job. I’ve been happy with the jobs he’s done for me.

Steve responded promptly to my request for a ceiling repair made via Yell.com. Though in the middle of a big job he came out that same day to assess the repair work required. The following day he made time to come and carry out the repair work which was carried out neatly and tidily. He was very polite and friendly and was also able to suggest an idea for other work on the property that needs doing. A very good service overall.

I rang Steve for a quote and he responded extremely quickly and gave me the quote next day, now that’s service. Steve started the job the following Monday and continued to work through some of the worst weather March could throw at him. I think we had everything bar snow and on just one day did Steve and Dylan knock of early, not much before 4pm and only then because they were soaked to the skin. They worked like this for two weeks cleaning off the old Tyrollean render and applying an up to date silicone render and boy does it look the business.

Can I recommend Steve Richardson Plastering Services? you bet your life I can, five STARS just doesn’t seem enough. It’s a pity there are not more people like Steve who has a work ethic that goes beyond what anyone could reasonably expect.
